Telangana’s Director of Medical Education (DME) has invited applications from qualified candidates for contract (temporary) appointments to the positions of professor, associate professor, and assistant professor in the required specialties for a period of one year. They’d work at one of eight new government medical schools or general hospitals. The deadline for submitting applications is October 28 at 5 p.m.
Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool, Mahbubabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Jagtial, Sangareddy, Mancherial, and Ramagundam are among the new government medical colleges. According to DME K. Ramesh Reddy, the institutions would be operational in the 2022-23 academic year.
The state government has applied to the Medical Council of India for authorization to provide the MBBS programme in the colleges.
Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, General Medicine, Psychiatry, Orthopaedics, Anaesthesiology, Radiodiagnosis, and Emergency Medicine are all looking for applicants. The number of recruits required varies per department.
