India to get third Covid-19 vaccine Sputnik V , it has been recommended by a experts committee as the country battles a record spike in virus cases.If its approved by the DCGI , then this will be the third vaccine to be used in India after Serum Institute of India ‘s Covishield which is developed by AstraZeneca and Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin.
Sputnik vaccine has an efficacy of 91.6 % and it is manufactured by Dr Reddy’s in India.
