A doctor assigned to Ward No. 5 of the PGIMS today filed a police report charging a patient’s attendant of misbehaviour and violence.
Dr. Swaran Singh Yadav filed a complaint alleging that the attendant not only insulted him, but also manhandled him when he asked her to accompany him outside the ward before the round of senior doctors.
“After the incident, I informed one of my seniors who rushed to the ward and tried to pacify the woman, but she kept abusing me,” he said in the complaint.
