  • The NTA has extended the deadline for making changes to information provided during the Phase 1 and Phase 2 registration processes.
  • The correction window will be open until 11:50 p.m. on October 14.

The National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test, NEET 2021 result is being processed and will be released shortly. Meanwhile, the National Testing Agency, NTA, has extended the deadline for corrections in the first and second phases once more and issued an important notice regarding the NEET results. Candidates who have completed the application process and even updated their Phase 2 Registration details are advised to carefully review the following fields on https://neet.nta.nic.in/Webinfo.

The correction window has now been extended till 11:50 pm on October 14, 2021. Students have been advised to re-check and correct (if required) the information shared under Gender, Nationality, email address, Category, sub-category and field of second phase carefully. The facility to make corrections is also available for the students who have done the one-time corrections earlier.

In the latest notice, NTA has informed that the scanned copy of OMR Answer Sheets of the candidates along with the Scorecards (Results) would be sent on mail to the registered email address. This is the same email address candidates have used and provided in their application forms.

Advising all candidates, NTA has hence asked all students again to check and cross-check their registered e-mail address in the application form.

As for the NEET Answer Key, there is no update on the release date as yet. It is expected that the answer keys would be released only after the correction window closes. Tentatively, hence, it can be expected that the answer key may be released by October 15.

As per past trends, NTA would give students about 36 – 48 hours to raise objections in the provisional answer key released. Once the objections are received, they would be verified and final answer key accordingly prepared. NEET 2021 Result would be based on the final answer key thus prepared.

All students who have appeared for the examination are advised to keep a check on the official website neet.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in for latest updates. Results would also be made available online on the official website.
