Students presented a 19-page memorandum to the education ministry outlining their concerns over the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2022 programme and their primary requests. According to the memorandum, the notification for the medical admission was sent on April 6, allowing only 100 days to prepare. Every year, at least 5 months before the exam, students are alerted. Students have expressed “stress and worry” as a result of this.

With only eight days to the exams, many students are still requesting a delay of the medical entrance exam.
The majority of NEET 2022 candidates have requested a delay of the exam by 40 to 60 days. Last year, NEET was held on September 12th. As a result, students claim that they were given only 10 months to prepare for NEET-UG 2022.
Some even complained that because the CBSE 12th board examinations finished in mid-June, they were unable to adequately study for the NEET. The statement further said that the NEET 2021 counselling concluded late, leaving individuals who were unable to attend with little time to prepare for the next one.
