Patna, May 21 (ANI): Intern doctors of Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) hospital held symbolic protest on May 21 against Bihar Government after hospital was turned into COVID dedicated hospital. They were demanding COVID allowance in addition to stipend and health insurance. “The state government should take initiative to add stipend and health insurance as other states are doing,” said a protestor. “We interns are more at risk so we are demanding basic things like COVID allowance as every state is providing without asking, stipend & health insurance. COVID dedicated hospital is done under Bihar government and they have to take decision,” said another protestor.
