Dr. John Pezzuto and his colleagues at Western New England University have released research that show “amazing” effects of grape intake as well as “exceptional” effects on health and lifespans.
According to a research published in the journal ‘Foods,’ incorporating grapes in the quantity of just under two cups per day might enhance western nations’ traditional high-fat diet, resulting in a decrease in fatty liver and an increase in longevity. Pezzuto, who has produced over 600 scientific papers, stated that these findings gave new meaning to the phrase “you are what you eat,” and that the study with grapes indicated actual changes in genetic expression. “That is very incredible.”
Grapes, when combined with a high-fat diet, raised antioxidant gene levels and delayed natural death.
According to Pezzuto, the difference shown in the research corresponds to an additional 4-5 years of human life. He admitted that converting years of living from a mouse to a person is not a precise science.
A second research, published in the journal Antioxidants by Dr. Pezzuto and his colleagues, revealed that grape intake affected the way genes were expressed in the brain and enhanced behaviour recognition, both of which were impaired by a high-fat diet.
