However, the technique and the oil are crucial for maintaining healthy hair but oiling may promote the development of Malassezia, which results in dandruff and can irritate the scalp and cause hairfall. However, this is untrue since oil’s molecular weight prevents it from penetrating the scalp and because it has no effect on hair growth or the condition of the scalp.

4. Applying cold oil
Applying heated oil is always preferable since it is more effective and quickly penetrates your hair and scalp. Warm oil promotes healthier hair by increasing blood flow to the scalp. Additionally, it supports and strengthens hair follicles.
5. Storage of oil overnight
When you let your hair soak in oil for more than 12 hours, your scalp’s natural oil and debris mix together. In addition to making your hair oily and cling, oil on your hair will likely attract dust from your pillow and bed. As a result, it may result in hair loss and other issues with the hair.
