The Federation of Resident Doctors Association and India (FORDA) has written a letter to the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dr Harsh Vardhan regarding the request to conduct the stray vacancy round and revision of cut off marks.The SC has recently given ruling in favor of aspirants whereby it has extended the admission date.
“After various communications by FORDA representing NEET SS aspirants to conduct stray round in order to stop wastage of previous seats, but authorities paid no heed , hence no positive outcome and finally resulted in wastage of nearly 500 seats.”says the statement by FORDA
FORDA has also given few suggestions regarding this. There first suggestion is to consider revision of cut off to ensure maximum participation of aspirants in counseling to reduce seat wastage. There second suggestion is to open registration for those candidates who could not register earlier.
