Dr. Antony Fauci, White House Chief Medical Advisor, tested positive with COVID-19 on Wednesday (local time).
He has been properly immunised and boosted twice. He is now suffering from minor symptoms. According to a press statement from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Dr. Fauci will isolate himself and continue to work from home. US President Joe Biden’s primary medical advisor has not lately communicated with him or other senior government officials. Dr. Fauci will follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s COVID-19 recommendations, as well as medical advice from his physician, and will return to the NIH if he tests negative.
