Dr. Shambhu Prasad Singh was elected as a new president of Indian Medical Association (IMA) Ranchi branch.Dr. Shambhu Singh defeated his nearest rival and retired RIMS Dr.VK Jain.
IMA Jharkhand General Secretary , Dr.Pradeep Singh said that Dr. Shambhu Prasad Singh defeated Dr. Jain by margin of 34 votes. The election for other post were not held as other members including Vice President , Secretary and treasurer were elected unopposed.
The Indian Medical Association (IMA) is the only representative and national voluntary organization of Doctors of Modern Scientific system of Medicine which looks after the interest of doctors and raise issues related to the doctors community for their well being
