According to a bulletin released by the Delhi Health Department on Friday, the national capital reported 2,136 new COVID cases in the past 24 hours, with a case positive rate of 15.02 percent.
In the nation’s capital, there are now 8,343 active COVID cases. In the past 24 hours, there have been 10 Covid deaths and 2,623 recoveries in the nation’s capital, according to the Ministry.
In the city, a total of 6,583 persons received vaccinations, of which 827 received the second dosage of the COVID-19 vaccine and 252 received the first.
In contrast, 68 young people between the ages of 15 and 17 were injected within the previous 24 hours. 5,504 elderly people received the precautionary dose during this time, according to the department.
In the nation’s capital, there are up to 5,676 patients in home isolation and 531 hospital admissions.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Friday, 16,561 new COVID cases were reported across India in the previous 24 hours.

1,23,535 instances are now active in India, which makes about 0.28 percent of all cases.
The current recovery rate is 98.53 percent. In the past 24 hours, 18,053 infection recoveries were recorded, bringing the overall number of recoveries to 4,35,73,094.
The government data also revealed that 5,26,928 people had died in India during COVID-19.
The weekly positivity rate is 4.88 percent, and the daily positivity rate is 5.44 percent.
During this time, 3,04,189 COVID sample were examined. To date, 87.95 crore tests have been performed in the nation.
In the past 24 hours, 17,72,441 doses of the COVID vaccine were given as part of the nationwide vaccination campaign. The total number of vaccination doses given up to this point is 207.47 crores, of which 93.71 crores are second doses and 11.63 crores are precautionary doses.
According to the Union Health Ministry, India has now given out more than 100 million COVID-19 vaccine prophylactic doses.
