Tenali: A patient of Covid-19 died on Wednesday due to medical negligence of the RMP (Rural Medical Practitioner) doctor treating him. The RMP treated the victim without sending him to the hospital.
The victim, 45, fell ill a few days ago for the treatment of which he went to the RMP. The latter refused to treat him three days after the condition became serious. The patient was rushed to a private hospital by his family members, where he was tested positive and died while receiving treatment.
The kin of the victims raised concerns in front of the clinic accusing the RMP of medical negligence. Following this, the police arrived there and ordered to close the clinic for 10 days.
