According to data provided by the Ministry of Health on Sunday, India registered 28,326 new COVID-19 cases and 260 fatalities in the last 24 hours, bringing the total caseload to 3,35,52,805 and the total death toll to 4,46,918. (September 26, 2021). Kerala produced 16,671 new cases and 120 fatalities to this total.
Over 26,032 recoveries were also recorded in the country in the last 24 hours, taking total recoveries to 3,29,02,351 and the active caseload now stands at 3,03,476.
In the last 24 hours, the active COVID-19 caseload increased by 2,034 cases. The daily positive rate is now 1.90 percent, while the recovery rate is 97.77 percent. According to the data, the Nationwide Vaccination Drive has resulted in the administration of 85.60 crore vaccine doses.
