Covid case Update: India registers 13,091 cases on Thursday

In India, there has been an increase in new Covid-19 infections in the previous 24 hours. On Thursday, a total of 13,091 cases were registered. The government recorded 11,466 coronavirus cases yesterday. However, the number of daily infections fatalities decreased on Thursday compared to Wednesday. According to data from the health ministry, 340 individuals died in the country on Thursday as a result of coronavirus. Prior to that, 460 people died from the Covid illness on Wednesday. According to government data, 4,62,189 persons died as a result of coronavirus.

However, India’s active cases have continued to witness a decline. Currently, the active caseload stands at 1,38,556; the lowest in 266 days. Moreover, the Covid-related recoveries have also seen a surge. As per the ministry’s data, a total of 13,878 recoveries were registered.

Altogether, 3,38,00,925 people have recovered from coronavirus in India as per the government’s data.

The nation has administered 110.23 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine. According to health ministry authorities, 79.2 percent of India’s adult population has gotten at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, with more than 37 percent of the country’s 94 crore adult population receiving both doses.
