Covid case update: India logs 26,041 cases in 24 hrs

On Monday, India recorded 26,041 new Covid-19 cases in only 24 hours. This is 8.1 percent lower than the previous day’s figure. The total number of cases in the country is currently 3,36,78,786.

India has recorded 276 Covid deaths in the previous 24 hours, bringing the overall number of Covid deaths in the nation to 4,47,194.

Meanwhile, 29,621 patients recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. The total number of recoveries across the country is now 3,29,31,972 and the recovery rate us 97.78 per cent.

There are 2,99,620 active Covid cases in India at present, which is 3,856 less than what was recorded on Sunday.

India administered a total of 38,18,362 Covid-19 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of doses administered across the country under the nationwide vaccination drive to 86,01,59,011.
