According to statistics released on Thursday by the Union Health Ministry, the country had a total of 17,561 discharges in the past 24 hours, bringing the overall recovery rate to about 98.15 percent, the highest since March 2020, and total recoveries data to 3,34,95,808.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, the total number of COVID-19 vaccine doses delivered in the country exceeded the 100-crore mark. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya congratulated the country on its achievement in a tweet, saying it was due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s competent leadership.
