712 new COVID-19 cases are reported in Delhi, raising positive rate to 4.47 percent

In the previous 24 hours, 712 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Delhi, with the positive rate increasing to 4.47 percent from 4.06 percent on Thursday.

The city’s active caseload has increased to 2,327. According to the Delhi Health Department, 593 COVID patients have recovered in the previous 24 hours. Since the start of the epidemic, there have been 19,18,400 recoveries.

In the previous 24 hours, one patient died from the disease in the city, bringing the total death toll to 26,298.

In the previous 24 hours, 15,943 COVID samples were examined.

The COVID vaccine was provided to 33,137 recipients as part of the statewide immunisation push, bringing the total number of vaccine doses delivered in the city to 3,55,71,218.

The total COVID-19 immunisation coverage in India surpasses 201.30 crores, according to the Union Health Ministry.

It claimed 21,880 additional cases were registered in the previous 24 hours, bringing the active caseload to 1,49,482. India’s recovery rate is 98.46%, and the weekly positivity rate is now 4.51 percent.
