The cumulative COVID-19 vaccine coverage in India has surpassed 200.33 crores, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Tuesday.
In the previous 24 hours, a total of 27,78,013 dosages were provided. The nation’s active caseload is at 1,43,654, with a recovery rate of 98.47 percent.
The total recoveries in the last 24 hours were 16,113, bringing the total recoveries to 4,313,13,623.
India experienced a modest decrease in new cases, with 15,528 new cases registered in the past 24 hours.
The nation has a weekly positivity rating of 4.57 percent and a daily positivity rate of 3.32 percent.
So far, 87.01 cr tests have been performed, with 4,68,350 tests performed in the previous 24 hours.
The countrywide COVID-19 immunisation campaign began on January 16, 2021. The next phase of COVID-19 vaccine universalization began on June 21, 2021.

The vaccination effort has been accelerated by the availability of more vaccinations and enhanced visibility of vaccine availability to States and UTs, allowing them to better manage and streamline the vaccine supply chain.
