IMA to go for hunger strike from 01feb onwards against ‘Mixopathy’

The Doctors from the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has earlier staged protests against mixopathy and now they have announced go for hunger strike from February 01, till February 15.

Dr. J. A Jayalal when took charge as a president of IMA, he clearly said to start a campaign against the “Khichdi Medicine” in the country.

“We are going on a hunger strike from february 01 to february 15 against the notification issued by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) that allows ayurveda doctors trained in two surgery based subjects to perform 58 types of surgeries.” said Dr J A Jayalal , President, IMA

The IMA will do hunger strike at 50 different locations in India and overall 50 doctors will be on strike.Indian Medical association has also filed the petition against it in the court.
