AstraZeneca to test combination with Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine for more efficacy

AstraZeneca said it would investigate combining its COVID-19 vaccine with Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine  that can boost the efficacy of a vaccine.This suggestion was given by the Sputnik V developers on Tweet a month ago.AstraZeneca’s vaccine has an average efficacy of 70.4 percent, according to the data published in a journal Russia , meanwhile, has said that Sputnik V is 92 percent effective

Kirill Dmitriev, head of Russia’s RDIF sovereign wealth fund, that has funded Sputnik V said “This shows the strength of Sputnik Vtechnologyand our willingness and desire to partner with other vaccines to fight against COVID-19 together.”
