Travelers from a few countries, including South Africa, Brazil, Bangladesh, Botswana, China, and certain European nations, will be required to follow extra procedures in addition to the necessary Covid-19 protocols upon arriving in India. According to the officials quoted by the organisation, these procedures include a post-arrival Covid-19 test in the nation and screening.

Soon after, Alex Ellis, British high commissioner to India, said in a tweet, “No quarantine for Indian travellers to the UK fully vaccinated with Covishield or another UK-approved vaccine from 11 October.”
Meanwhile, India delivered around 27 lakh doses of Covid-19 vaccinations on Thursday, bringing the total number of vaccine doses provided across the country to 97 crore. The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare further stated that when the day-long final report is obtained late at night, daily immunisation counts are anticipated to rise.
