An RTI has revealed that the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, (AIIMS) Delhi has spent rupees 71.17 crores on coronavirus treatment-related usage that counts almost 9 months from March 2020 till November.
The New Indian Express reports that the RTI reply regarding the funds given by the centre for #COVID-19 related expense. “At present , the institutes may meet their fund’s requirement from normal budgetary provisions,” the reply given by the administration.The All India institute of medical sciences has also that they spend a huge amount of N95 masks and Oxygen cylinders.
On the amount spent on ventilators the institute has replied no amount has been spent on the purchase of ventilators during the period of March to November 2020.
