NEW DELHI: On Friday in hostel complex 1-13, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) took note of dengue and other vector-borne diseases previously reported on the AIIMS Complex.
Cleaning, anti-larval spray, control of tanks and leaks in pipeline or water tanks and removal of shrubbs were part of the driving. In the neighbouring East Kidwai Nagar, a similar drive also began, an official said.
NDMC vice-chairman Satish Upadhyay, who launched the drive, said the civic body had been regularly conducting anti-larva checking drive, in which teams visited houses, public areas and offices.
