According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Indian records 44,281 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases with total surge to 86,36,012. The new deaths in the last 24 hours recorded are 512 with total number of deaths of 1,27,571.India has 4,94,657 active cases with new 50,326 discharges.
Total samples tested in 24 hours- ICMR
The total number of samples tested for coronavirus (COVID-19) is 12,07,69,151. The samples tested in a single day are more than 11 lakh i.e 11,53,294.
The data revealed by the Union Ministry of Health and Family welfare says it’s the first time the number of cases has been dropped below 5 lakh mark for the first time in 106 days.
