As part of the countrywide vaccination campaign, the Government of India has been supplying free COVID-19 vaccinations to states and union territories. In light of the recent increase in COVID-19 instances recorded throughout the country, the Health Ministry of India asked states and union territories on June 9 to be vigilant and rigorously adhere to COVID-appropriate behaviour.
