COVID: According to statistics from the Union Health Ministry, India recorded 796 new COVID-19 cases in the previous 24 hours. As a result, the current caseload has increased to 11,899.
In India, 19 people have died as a result of coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours. In total, 946 people recovered from the virus in the previous 24 hours, bringing the overall number of recoveries in the country to 4,25,04,329 people.
According to the health ministry, active cases make up 0.03 percent of total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate is still 98.76 percent.
According to the ministry, the daily positivity rate was 0.20 percent and the weekly positivity rate was 0.24 percent.
So far, the total number of doses administered in the country as part of the COVID-19 immunisation campaign has surpassed 185.90 crores.
