15,815 new COVID cases were reported in India in the past day
According to data released on Friday by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India reported 15,815 new COVID cases in the previous 24 hours, with a daily case positive rate of 4.36 percent.
Currently, there are 1,19,264 active cases in the nation, or 0.27 percent of all cases. The government data also revealed that 5,26,996 people had died in India during COVID-19.
20,018 COVID patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry. The nation’s total number of disease-free citizens increased to 4,35,93,112. 98.54 percent is where the recovery rate is at the moment.
