NEET candidates and junior doctors have requested that the government reschedule the NEET PG 2022 test date since it conflicts with the NEET 2021 counselling procedure. Aspirants are asking for a break between the two exams so that those who do not obtain seats in NEET 2021 counselling can take the NEET 2022 exam this year.
The government has scheduled March 12, 2022 for the NEET PG 2022 exam, whereas the scheduled date for the third round of NEET 2021 counselling will be March 16.
Expressing their concern about the situation, Indian Medical Association (IMA) doctors have submitted a letter to the authorities. The letter is concerned with the interns of India, including the interns of North Gujarat University. IMA has written this letter to Dr Anil Nayak Sir (Member of @NMC_IND from Gujarat) requesting immediate action.
Nowadays, the hashtag #postponeneetpg2022 is trending on Twitter. Junior and senior doctors are showing their concern and reaction to Twitter and several social media sites across India.
Showing his concern about the scenario expert, Gaurav Tyagi, Founder, Career Xpert, NEET Counsellor, said,” Aspirants are in a big dilemma as the exams and counselling dates are clashing. It will be difficult for them to travel to the respective exam centre. The authorities should extend support and address the concerns of junior doctors and aspirants or else it’ll ruin a year for them.”
“We hope soon the government will come out with positive action in the doctors and aspirant’s favor,” the expert added.
