Ayurveda and Yoga are two sides of the same coin
Ayurveda and Yoga: Tanuja Narsi, the head of the All India Institute of Ayurveda, stated on Thursday that Ayurveda and Yoga are two sides of the same coin. Today is a very significant day because it is Jagriti Arogya Diwas, or World Health Day, and the theme this year is “Our Planet, Our Health,” Narsi told ANI. “The International Day of Yoga is only 75 days away. The countdown to Yoga Day has begun, “she continued.
Yoga is Ayurveda’s spiritual face, and Ayurveda is yoga’s physical face. She emphasized that yoga and ayurveda are two sides of the same coin.
She emphasized the importance of yoga and urged that everyone should make it a part of their daily lives. She went on to say that everyone should do yoga for 35 minutes every morning.
She stated while discussing the significance of Ayurveda, “It keeps a person’s physical health in check. Ayurveda is not a medical or herbal science, but rather a means of living a healthy and happy life. Yoga can help us avoid several ailments.
“Ayurveda also talks about altering our eating patterns in accordance with the changing seasons,” she said.
Ayurveda is a part of our cultural legacy. It’s called Panchakarma. She continued, saying that yoga is a component of Ayurveda, which is a comprehensive and integrated system.
Earlier today, on World Health Day, the Ministry of Ayush conducted a magnificent presentation at Red Fort to demonstrate the universal Yoga technique.
According to the Ministry of Ayush, the event was held on Thursday between 6.30 a.m. and 8 a.m. against the backdrop of 15th August Park, Red Fort. The program’s Chief Guest was Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. Several Union Ministers, Members of Parliament, Ambassadors from several countries stationed in Delhi, notable sportspeople, and Yoga gurus attended the event.
Because the approaching 8th International Day of Yoga falls on the same day as the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Ministry suggests commemorating IDY at 75 important locations around the country. This countdown effort is already underway, and IDY-2022 observation is gathering traction.
