The ministry also stated that 2,652 patients had’recovered’ in the preceding 24 hours, bringing the national’recovery’ rate to 98.74%.
On Sunday, the country also reported 31 deaths. In India, the total number of persons who have died as a result of Covid is estimated to be approximately 5.16 lakh. The mortality rate has remained constant at 1.20 percent.
Since Sunday, about 3.84 lakh tests have been performed, and over two lakh vaccination doses have been administered. Since the beginning of the epidemic, India has done approximately 78.30 crore tests.
So far, 181.24 billion vaccine doses have been administered.
